I hope that they accidentally re-create the Death Star and blow themselves all up.

I cannot express how irritating Rey is. I have to deal with Mary Sues at work. I really, really do not want to have to deal with them in my recreation.

As for the lead in Rogue One. The trailers already spoiled it. Her father designed the Death Star. She isn't connected more than that.

If Rogue One is as self-referential to the old films in terms of plot as TFA was, Rey is Han and Leia's daughter. I would prefer it to her being Luke's daughter because her dynamic with Kylo would be more interesting if they were siblings instead of cousins.

Even though Rogue One is in the timeline, it is trying to be a separate story than the Trilogy films.

I don't want them to be siblings and I feel like they aren't going that route since they wanted to say that everything that happened in the novels wasn't canon anymore. Han and Leia had twins in those novels. I guess they could have been trying to throw us off but it would be lame for them to fall back on it.
