Apparently they are making all new original music for the soundtrack. This goes into the process with one band.

I am a little worried that the music will be bad, but I'm on PC anyways so I should be able to provide my own stuff.

Should we terraform Mars? How would we do it? Why would we do it? Neil deGrasse Tyson and Chuck Nice are here to break down the logistics of putting humans on the Red Planet. You’ll learn why, if we want to warm Mars out of permafrost, it would be a BYOGHG event. You’ll also learn about Elon Musk’s plan to warm up Mars. Chuck ponders the benefits of being a two-planet species. All that, plus, Neil explains why the day we have the power to terraform Mars is the same day we have the power to terraform Earth.

Humanity’s future is glorious. As we master space travel, we’ll hop from one lifeless world to the next. Life will blossom in our path and the galaxy with shimmer with beautiful Earth-like orbs. Hmmm… maybe. This won’t sound so far fetched if we prove we can do it at least once. If we successfully terraform Mars.

Ever wondered who created G-code? Marc Cronin, from @G-Code Tutor, discusses the origins and the future possibilities of the programming language.

G-code programming language was invented somewhere between 1958 and 1961 according to the official documents. The MIT was the first institution to start using it and experimenting with it. The programming language is one of the most ancient programming languages but despite his age is still one of the most utilized nowadays in a multitude of environments, including the majority of modern machine shops.

During the 1970s through the 1990s several CNC machine tool builders attempted to overcome capacity difficulties by standardizing on different machine controllers built by FANUC.

In modern days, controllers' differences and incompatibilities are not as troublesome as modern machines because modern machines operate using CAD/CAM. CAD/CAM machines can post to any version of G-code as the software is capable of dealing with the different variances that the machine manufacturers have added to the program over the years.

The New York Times

Nov 25, 2018

Russia’s meddling in the United States’ elections is not a hoax. It’s the culmination of Moscow’s decades-long campaign to tear the West apart. “Operation InfeKtion” reveals the ways in which one of the Soviets’ central tactics — the promulgation of lies about America — continues today, from Pizzagate to George Soros conspiracies. Meet the KGB spies who conceived this virus and the American truth squads who tried — and are still trying — to fight it. Countries from Pakistan to Brazil are now debating reality, and in Vladimir Putin’s greatest triumph, Americans are using Russia’s playbook against one another without the faintest clue.

Last night I watched the Netflix documentary, "The Social Dilemma", which, mainly through interviews with IT experts, explores the implications and methods behind our use of facebook, YouTube, etc. Music Banter isn't mentioned, but we are right there in the thick of it, so this prog is worth looking at imo. For some of you, though, it may just confirm what you know already. Anyway, here's a free review of the prog from First Post:

I just watched the first episode of the Middlemarch BBC series. I'd imagined Lydgate looking less polished and conventional and I pictured Mary differently too (but the casting of darling Mary could never live up to my imagination) but she has the Attitude so I approve. The rest is pretty much as I imagined (Dorothea is perfectly cast lol), I'm enjoying it a lot
