Oh I love that ****! I only watched the first half I think, but the island... half season finale I guess, was amazing. I totally totally need to finish that so ****ing bad. Loved the characters so much.
I need to rewatch it again too. Was just looking at my box and was surprised it's 24 episodes. I remembered it as 13 or so. 600 minutes of greatness!
Should also mention that, if you end up really liking Paprika, then the second best thing the same director did (imo), Paranoia Agent, is probably the closest thing you're going to get to something vaguely similar to Paprika. It's not a film, but a sort of mini-seires. A string of loosely connected short stories about a series of mysterious assaults on innocent people. Really, really good and unusual stuff.
