I don't watch the league but I follow a twitch streamer who does OWL breakdowns and has guests/pros visit his stream, and there has been a lot of talk about the future of OWL and expanding upon it to levels of professional sports. Definitely a great time to break into coaching, casting, and other esports related careers if it's something you are interested in. Hardwork though.

imo the game does not translate to pro play well at all. after a couple weeks i gave up on watching it. the xQC drama and stuff like that makes me even less interested.

I played this game for a while but it got a little old, mostly because Blizzard takes so long to add stuff. It's almost been 2 years since release and there's only been 6 added characters.
But when I did play I liked it for quite a while. I only played ranked for one season but I was high plat, only 2 or so wins from diamond. I'll probably pick it up again someday but I doubt I'll ever play it too seriously for an extended period
