What saddens me the most out of this is that I know she's being tricked but I can't tell her not to do it. I already told her my honest opinion on it but she's been going to these for a while.

Doing things like this takes crazy courage but I do think it’s effective and powerful.

Oh trust me I don't think we'll be hanging out anymore or anything like that. I should've seen it the first night but didn't. I am glad that I eventually went with my gut but when I've thought about it, she was really just using me as a recruit. I was referred to as her "guest" at the meetings. Never even asked for my name. I'm still terrified but man, I'm glad I got out.

You'd be surprised by how many people won't do a thing about it. You might piss people off, but they won't do ****. Especially in that circle. Most that'd happen is they'd have him escorted out. Which isn't a bad thing.
