Good stuff you've been getting there lately.
Flying Dutchman was Thiele's label - and a good one!

Watch for Pipedream from Alan Hull too
or check out his band Lindisfarne if it comes your way.

...and, oh man, that Freddie Redd is great - no more to say - just listen!

also, watch for Owen Gray's album Forward on the Scene - an even better slice of rocksteady.

Didn't realize that was Thiele's label. That's cool. I've got some Lindisfarne in but I just played Hull's album Phantoms and kind of hated it so I'm a little hesitant to check out other stuff right now. Squire is just so good though so I'm sure Phantoms was just an outlier.

Phantoms is pretty much crap - better too is Statues and Liberties -
right up there with Pipedream and Squire.
As for Lindisfarne, best ones: Nicely Out of Tune and Fog on the Tyne.

Are there legs I can't see or does it do a kind of rocking motion on its bottom corners?

The Beatles were certainly pro-choice

Isn't that the rejected Revolver cover? I remember reading that they did a butcher-themed photoshoot for that album but it was dismissed as inappropriate

Is that the real deal or one of the fakes?

Yesterday and Today. They put a bunch out with pasted over non baby covers. They're collectible now if you find the old ones with the paste overs on or off.

Real deal. We sold it for $500 in less than five hours. The dude even had the peel from when he steamed it off.
