Just found out about her a month ago or so. And I must say I'm impressed to say the least

I gotta call her and make an album together

I don't really so far (but that's only because I'm biased [in a negative way] towards pop/rock music made in the 21st century – so I feel guilty of being part of this. But later in the evening I'll be listening to what people have linked here – so that I can be proven wrong. So who knows?)

As for amazing jazz being made today:

Sons Of Kemet
They are absurdly good

The entire album "Your Queen is a Reptile" is amazing.
Especially the middle 5 tracks.

This melange of afro-beat and jazz is just mind blowing

Both songs are ethereal and dreamlike. They're really well crafted and everything works, but (being a guitar player I feel) the guitars add a little extra. I like how the fuzz breaks up at the end of the solo in I Follow You.

Broadcast - I Found the F (2005)

This is one of my favorites of all time:
Melody's Echo Chamber - I Follow You (2012)

Before you there's a fork in the road: one path leads to SlyStone63, the other to literally anything other than that. Choose wisely!
