Default Irish/English Ballad is killing me.

I used to listen to the song constantly and I completely forgot the name of it and the artist. Even most of the lyrics. Not enough to piece together for a lyrics search. Female vocalist, very long song. I would say 6-10 minutes. About a man and his wife/girlfriend set, he is some sort of bandit/thief. In the beginning he is leaving her to go and make some big score of money. When he's gone riders on horseback come to the house(maybe?). She ends up getting herself killed to warn him. And he rides to his death anyways. I've got bits and pieces. I just can't it together enough. Everything I try to search gives me seven Spanish angels. Which is similar but not it. Lol. Any help appreciated.

One of these two perhaps:

"Everywhere" - Fleetwood Mac (the video is a visual depiction of the poem "The Highwayman" by Alfred Noyes)

or maybe the Nightwish version of ""Over the Hills and Far Away"?
