Lost song

Hi guys, first time poster here. Im looking for a song from I think late 80s early 90s. Im almost positive the song is called Big Sky and for some reason I keep thinking the band was called Big Sky also. Lead singer is male with long curly blonde hair. Part of the lyrics that I remember are, "i wanna go to the big sky, and when I run/roam, and when i die, i wanna go, gotta go, to the big sky". Video was shot in fields and inside what may have been castle or church type of building. I can see the video, hear the song in my head, but cant find anything at all online about both song and band. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Maybe I have the names wrong. Thx

From your description, I'm guessing this is some sort of metal ballad. Before you mentioned the curly haired blonde singer, I was thinking Robbie Robertson's Showdown at Big Sky. Anyway, I have no idea. Can you confirm the genre?

Genre Im guessing would rock, soft rock. Not metal or pop. In the Toronto area I remember Much Music playing it because I had the video recorded on VHS.
