It's a mediocre indie album. Showing lack of ability to inspire or be inspired as they walk in circles, hitting the same roadblocks and never breaking them down in their corporate-controlled way.

Like I was saying in the one Bloc Party thread, people are gonna hate it when bands change, and people are gonna hate it when bands stay the same. It is almost impossible to make everyone happy. Although if I heard this music without lyrics I would be able to guess it is Bloc Party so I felt the album does have "their" original sound to it. I would have to complain on some of the slower songs on the album. I love the Bloc Party's progressive build which I felt a few songs lacked. Overall a good cd, I think a lot of people would be lying if they said they didn't tap their feet at all while listening to the album.

I really liked it.

on a side note' there is a homeless man who lives in a tent under a freeway bridge right across the street from where I work and he looks just like the singer from bloc party. We always refer to him as "bloc party"
