even though he can be a bratty baby and snatched the mic from Taylor...I cannot deny how talented this guy is. He really went "there" on this album...

Terence Hill, as recently confirmed during an interview to an Italian TV talk-show, was offered the role but rejected it because he considered it "too violent". Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta declined the role for the same reason. When Al Pacino was considered for the role of John Rambo, he turned it down when his request that Rambo be more of a madman was rejected.

I think it's good but I didn't think it was deserving of all of the year end "best of" list love. It was #1 in quite a few media outlets but I thought there was much more deserving albums.

Great album! I love the song "Monster", but it would've been even better if they left the Jay Z verse out.

a good, but overrated hip hop. it's not as "experimental" and "cutting-edge" as many critics want you to believe it is.

i'll agree that this isn't anything innovative, but more as the record of Kanye's career (so far) in that it represents his sound from The College Dropout up to 808s and Heartbreak. really, for mainstream hip-hop this is a cut above the rest imo.

^ I agree 100%.
There are almost no other (mainstream) hip-hop artists out there who can actually make a well rounded album. There's always a lot of filler with a few hits, but what Kanye does is unparalleled in the hip-hop world. He is one of the most important artists of this generation, no doubt.

IMHO, there were only a few solid songs that have repeat value.
