SUGGEST ME AN ALBUM - I'm probably not going to listen to it but I will if you bother me enough.

As soon as you listen to it, I'd love to discuss it. I'd actually go on a Bowie marathon right now if I didn't just get back into Simpsons.

High quality version in 320 from the CD guys: https://mega.nz/#F!kk9HlBhS!fN3BzoUz2fJ7eAG4kXZeqw

It's absolutely mega. Love the free jazz sections and the mixture of progressive song structures with the jazz and DnB elements. Some strong song-writing. Sue sounds fantastic. Best thing he's done since Scary Monsters, and that's legit this time.

that one always gets said when he releases a new album

Sounding strong from the brief listen I gave it last night. I'll check it out properly this evening.

I know, I know! But possibly with the exception of Outside (need more listens to form a proper opinion), it really is the strongest thing he's done.

Never mind Scary Monsters, this is on the same level as the Berlin trilogy.

I need to give Low and Heroes relistens. I never could get into Low, because the songs were shorter then they deserved.

Just gave it a first listen, I thought that it was great and was only disappointed with the closing track. I especially loved the horns on this one.

I thought the closing track was great. A high and cheery note to end haunting music. It reminds me of It's Such a Beautiful Day, where the movie's kind of depressing but t ends happily and beautifully despite the inevitable.
