Legendary singer-songwriter Daryl Hall just released his 5th solo album called “Laughing Down Crying”. The new album feels fresh and current while still maintaining Daryl’s signature style and amazing songwriting.
You remember him as the lead singer of Hall and Oates and now he’s back and better than ever! Hall & Oates are considered the “Number One Selling Duo” in music history and have such hits as “Rich Girl” and “Private Eyes”.

Lately he’s been busy making waves as a “tastemaker” for up and coming talent as music host and executive producer of his smash hit web television series, Live From Daryl’s House. You can check out his shows on the air every Saturday and Sunday (check local listings).

On his newest album, you’ll see that his voice is still as incredible as it was on “Sara Smile” many years ago and it’s an album that you can pop into the CD player and listen to with your kids. The songs are soulful and catchy. He partnered with some incredible producers that have worked with such artists as Jennifer Lopez, Billy Joel and Ricky Martin.

You should listen to samples of Daryl’s newest songs from the new album and then buy it on itunes or Amazon!

I work for Miles Of Marketing and this information was provided to me by them. We are a group of moms passing along great information like this to other moms!!!
I liked him well enough to check out his latest.

Save Me," "Message To Ya" and "Eyes For You" on Daryl's album, "Laughing Down Crying." This album was released on September 27th, 2011 on Verve Records.

Daryl Hall's show is getting a lot of airtime on music television. The guy seems highly respected by other musicians.

Personally I think most songs by Hall & Oates are enjoyable fluff. I prefer the more meaningful songs like "Don't Hold Back Your Love." (Although the mostly downbeat 1988 album is lousy, in my opinion). My favorite song by the duo probably is "Family Man" - dark story and great guitar.

Prior to seeing them 2 years ago I coulnd't tell you more than 2 songs off the top of my head. I was actually going to see the openers. Then Hall and Oates came on and played like 15 songs I knew, I just didnt know it was them.
