I just bought Rihanna's new album. It seems like she's got a lot of different influences mixing into her work. But what do I know? This is the first album I have by her.

I'll give it a second listen, and then write a review of it on my blog.

her new album is NOT a good place to start. Imo, it only has two or three good tracks. You should go back and get Music of the Sun
then skip over A girl like me. not really worth it only a couple of good tracks on that one

Next listen to Good Girl Gone Bad and you might as well just get the Reloaded version.

Rihanna is probably my favourite artist. She's sexy and has an absolutely fantastic voice. All over the charts at the moment. Love all her songs, "Umbrella", "Russian Roulette", "Rude Boy", "What's Your Name", Only Girl In The World", you name it.

yeah it does sound slightly different than her but it's her. It's a demo quality so they didn't really touch it up enough that you can hear it properly.

Yep, loving her looks, the hair is great. Not sure about a few of her current songs. There's been an overkill of her recently. She seems to have had about a million singles out!

She has catchy tunes but I hear she always has the hardest time selling on her tours. She's not really a performer and she's not the best singer in my opinion. Basically I feel indifferent about her. But I wish her the best.

Got to admit that I like Rihanna's All Of The Lights song. The song starts off quite depressingly and it brightens up. A lot of creativity has been shown in producing the music video and I like the way it's been constructed.

Give Kayne West some credit for playing his part in a song that is sure to continue moving up the charts.

Excuse the intrusion but I can't effin stand Rihanna. She's quite a terrible singer who sounds awful on anything and everything, and she hasn't done anything remotely interesting since "Umbrella", which, to be honest, was really bad.

You don't make much sense. It's my opinion that Rihanna and Alicia Keys are equally talented. Alicia Keys is an artist I hugely admire, she can play the piano, has a unique voice and has been succesful but so has Rihanna to an even greater extent. There is no way that Rihanna and Alicia Keys are equally talented, success doesnt equal talent is the point that I am getting at. Rihanna doesnt write her songs, she doesnt have any input into production, she literally just sings pre written songs and dances on the video. She is lucky in that she has an above average voice and is attractive.

I can stomach a few songs by Rihanna. Shes nice to look at occassionally. I find Kanye West to be quite opposite. I think hes bland and uninteresting to listen to. I think hes over-processed in general and his lyrics are very generic.
