I like the lyrics and general mood of "Set Fire to the Rain." (Not that I could really tell the lyrics from hearng the song, but the mood predicted they're good.) It's not boring and not as mopey as some of her other songs. Unfortunately, something about her voice is not to my liking, and she does some unnecessary vocal tricks on the song that distract from its message.

She's the best of the pop world at the moment, but it could be better starting with songs dealing with other themes than her own relationship woes.

She doesn't do anything interesting at all. I don't see what the big deal is.

I don't think of Adele as one to have a unique sound, merely the power of her voice is what I enjoy about her music.

One of the most criminally overrate artist of the past decade.

Her music is dull and uninteresting. Someone Like You has to be one of the most boring songs I have ever heard. People seem to jump on her because it's "SO EMOTIONAL" and because of popular culture's recent obsession with "authentic" artists (see: boring).

Her voice isn't even that good anyway.

Adele is someone who is one of the most talented female artist that I have seen for a long time. This woman is a perfect singer and she is someone who has a powerful voice. She is someone who knows how to touch your soul. I know her voice is not the most exciting to hear and I know she is not the greatest singers but she is talented.

The thing with Adele is that she simple and does not try to act like other people. I find that a good thing because Adele is herself. That is an artist I want which a person being their true self. Adele is one of them.

Her voice is interesting because it is contralto, the deepest type of female classical singing voice and not one that you hear in mainstream music much. Her voice is more interesting than her song-writing, though.
