Speechless.

Is she the most talanted female artist around today? I am certain she is but then I love her music.
Who can honestly say she is not the most talented female sonwriter and singer in the last decade and a precocious (genius) that is why she has been awarded. I just love ADELE!!
She is certainly the most talented of the Brit School crop Winehouse is past and burned out and Melua is not even in the running. Kate Nash is simply not original enough and Lilly Allen is just not very good.
Will ADELE surpass them all this year? Of course she will but then I love her.
I agree with u. She is so great!

Adele is good but now as good as i want it to make her my favorite star. Her Skyfall theme of bond series is really good i like it. But all over she fine.

I didn't like her at any point so far. Not sure if something's wrong with me or if she's just not that great. I appreciate her voice and its neat that she is a not-so-skinny girl and promoting a normal image, but yeah. Her songs are overplayed and her voice....well that style is all the rage these days. (Marina & the Diamonds, Duffy, Lana del Rey). I don't care who came first--the point is that she is just more mainstream I guess. And therefore uninteresting.

Don't you think that's a pretty ignorant opinion? Adele sings on radio, therefore shyte.

That's not what I mean. I love tons of stuff on the radio. The problem is that with Adele, her radio overplay-ment seriously killed her songs for me.

Also, uninteresting is not a synonym of shyte.

Sorry, I meet that many people irl and on the Internet that think they are above listening to anything 'mainstream' that I kind of jumped to a conclusion.

No problem, I totally get what you mean, Fletch. Mainstream music is often overlooked and ignored by people who think that only stupid people listen to it...<<; Pisses me off to no end!

Adele is a really talented artist, I agree.

And she is hardly bubblegum pop. Her music has meaning, and her singing has soul. The fact that she is mainstream means nothing; she was just lucky enough to "make it."
