I don't think her shock art is wearing thin at all. In my opinion it's getting predictable, she needs to up her game.

Wearing thin..predictable..pretty much the same thing, don't you think? I agree that she needs to up her game, I was extremely disappointed with the video for Alejandro. I guess I just feel like she could have done much more with the video. Telephone, lyrically, is pretty bland, but she turned it into a humorous social commentary.

I'm really hoping her next album is as amazing and one-of-a-kind as she claims it is. It's going to be a challenge to top The Fame Monster, imo.

Well it could be considered wearing thin, but that'd mean I was getting fed up of it. I'm not really. I just think she is getting very predictable, one can only be unique and outrageous for so long. I've not seen the Alejandro video, unless it's the rapey one then I haven't seen it! I don't care much for music videos you see .

I really hope she produces an album thats absolutely out of this world aswell. As you said, Fame monster WILL be hard to beat.

My guess is she will leak a sex tape before a new album ever comes out. Seems to be the thing to do with pop stars today. Hell for the first time ever people are being stars solely for there sex tapes.

She could go into madonna emulation mode and release a "sex book" with her posing in soft porn shots...

Actually, in all seriousness I think she is a little bit too classy for the whole sex tape thing... and she is too guarded about her image and public representation to have anything come out like that... I think that is one hallmark of the Lady Gaga phenomenom... tight image control. Nothing is going to come out about her or representing her if she doesn't want it to... in that way I see her as a fairly empowered pop star.

The Bowie production and even some co - writing credits points in the right direction, for sure...

Not really, it was just one article I found interesting and it happened to be on Rollingstone.com.

I just say that because Rolling Stone has no cred and although they do have some decent artist profiles (like the excellent one they did on Alex Chilton) and articles on current events, their reviewing system is a complete joke and they seem to lick the ass of anything thats popular.
