New disc from Jadakiss (hip-hop, pop, rap, single, album)

It's called 'The Last Kiss.' I guess Jadakiss toyed with calling it 'Kiss My A$$' but he wasn't too happy with the reception it was getting in test markets. “I had to change the name of my album because ‘Kiss My Ass’ wasn’t testing well at retail; not even with the exclamations or none of that so we had to change it to ‘The Last Kiss’,” Jadakiss said. At least he’s honest. It's been five years since his last album, but he's already got four singles: "By My Side", "Can't Stop Me", "Letter to B.I.G." and "Death Wish". Still, I'm not sure he's going to hit the top of the billboard like he did five years ago.

His album wasn't testing well because he sucks. He can call it whatever he wants. Noone is going to buy it, unless he gets a huge video on MTV or pop radio. But lets face it, his type of hip-hop isn't as popular as it used to be. Especially is this economy, it's not exactly the best time to be dropping a half-assed hip-hop album.

p.s. I would name my album wtf I wanted to. Then again I wouldn't be appealling to teenage 'wannabe' thugs who depend on their parent's to buy a rap album for them.

That's just silly. I really doubt changing the name of an album would really effect album sales all that much.

the name of the album would affect album sales because stores will refuse to put the album on the shelves in turn affecting the album sales

That's the main reason why Nas changed ****** to Nas

Also I heard the whole album and eh I'm not liking it so far. The hottest track is the last one on the album and it's a bonus track and Lil Wayne is on it so maybe that's why it's better than the whole album

I wish the song Kiss my ass was on there....but I guess it was only making it's rounds on the mixtape circuit
