I'm not a Michael Jackson fan, and never will be.

A friend told me about this song today, thought I'd listen to it. I'm not posting this for laughs but I agree with what they're saying. Not just the media, but a lot of people too, and I mean A LOT of people.

This is so true. I disagree with what you're saying about people though, because I feel like the people that had a problem with him will still have a problem with him now, and I have heard this before. People aren't going to give a **** if they didn't before. The media just plays up whatever is popular at the moment, but they were being highly hypocritical in this situation.

There still were those people who gave him so much ****, and after his death, they suddenly became the biggest Michael Jackson fans. They were the ones talking ****, cracking the jokes, and after he passes away they are the ones saying "Don't make fun of him, that's ****ed up", this is just based off what I heard and saw around me.

It's bandwagon really, it's funny how they become legends in everyones eyes, not just the true fans from the start, after they die, and they aren't even around to see it.

Yeah I guess I understand what you mean. I guess most people though are just respectful after someone dies. And if he was a pedophile, which I don't know if I believe, then he can't hurt people anymore and maybe he can just be appreciated for his music. I don't know, that's naive to say, but I don't think that's it either. I think maybe people just don't like to be disrespectful to someone after they pass away, even if it's someone who was a bad person, and even if it's someone they never met. I think it's just something most people learn from when they're small.

how could I be so dumb as to think I could have a legitimate conversation on the internet about the greatness of MJ

even before he died, I felt a closeness to him. You know I'll just shut the **** up nobody obviously cares about him

Is it because nobody directly responded to you?

If so, ok here we go. People make jokes about celebrities. When celebrities die, people make new jokes about those same celebrities.

Michael Jackson is no exception to this.

When it comes to Michael Jackson some will respect him even though they believe he was guilty of many of the things he was accused of. Some will respect him and won't believe that he did any of the things he was accused of. Some won't respect him at all regardless of what they believe. All of these are valid opinions and nobody can tell an individual that they aren't entitled to them. Any number of these people will participate in jokes directed towards the man, whether they were made in life or in death. Also how could you possibly know "the truth" about Michael Jackson? Did you know him?

So to sum up? Waah.

I love Mikey. Seemed like a nice guy too. A bit egoistic sometimes, but what pop diva isn't? I also don't believe he hurt those children, I just think he was very maternal tbh.

I just think he was ignorant and completely lacking in common sense. I don't believe he was a paedophile, but then what do I know really? I do have a hard time believing that though, it seems to me that he just wasn't even living in the real world.

I do believe he liked to fondle children.

Whether he actually did or didn't, he was still a complete idiot for putting himself in those situations. We will never see another freak like Michael Jackson.
