I hope he goes to number 1 on the album charts and last.fm weekly charts, would be fitting tribute for the king of pop

I'm not so sure a tribute is in order for this guy.

If you're posting in the music forums make sure to be thoughtful and expressive, if you're posting in the lounge ask yourself "is this something that adds to the conversation?" It's important to remember that a lot of people use each thread. You're probably not as funny or clever as you think, I know I'm not.

Apparently Jackson had saved up a library of over a hundred fully recorded songs that weren't to be released until after his death, to support his kids.

How about that? Nothing generates a rock star's record sales better than death. That sh*t would sell like mad.

If his kids inherit that money, they'll be set for life.

If people are a fan of him then why not let them make their tribute. I think he is worthy of it, being the 'king of pop' and all. I keep forgetting to mention in my posts on here but when he died I kind of related to the same sadness I felt when James Brown died a few years back. The only difference (& I know this sounds harsh) is that I was a fan of James Brown but not of MJ. Highly respectful artist though & I dont think his personal life should be used to try and put down his influence on music.
