Michael jackson would always remain a classic singer. I still give respects to his songs and his dance steps.

Hi everybody!

I have a question for you...

Few years ago (10 years or smth like that) I had a chance to watch a MJ video on MTV or some other euro-music-video TV station. I have no idea what was it, maybe it wasn't even a music video but some kind of music-special, but I do remember it was veeeery loooong (I think it was over 30min.), and I remember a deserted castle at night, and I KNOW there was a lot of dancing...

Has anyone seen this video? Do you know what it is or where to find it?

I know exactly what you're talking about. It's a short film called Ghosts. It was made by special effects wizard Stan Winston and based on a story by Stephen King.

Enjoy:

HIStory has some good moments on it, SOME being the key word here. Maybe 3-4 quality tracks on disc 2. Disc 1 doesn't count.

I also wish people would start giving Jackson some credit as a songwriter, granted a lot of his songs were written by other people. Some of his biggest hits were written solely by him. That includes

Don't Stop Til You Get Enough
Billie Jean
Beat It
Wanna Be Startin' Something
Bad
Another Part of Me
Smooth Criminal
Dirty Diana
Black or White
Who Is It

People need to remember that it wasn't ALL Jones and Temperton.

LOL Thriller is ONE of Jacksons best works but its not his bestest overall. Like some have said already the albums after Thriller were just as good and for some even better. Critics and people always say Jackson best works is everything pre Thriller when that is not true. Everything up until Dangerous was pretty solid. I liked History to though. I liked all of Jackson's works but like with any artist he had/has he share of sucky tracks.

His a great songwriter and he also has had his share in producing as well.

Right.

It kills me how just because Quincy and Temperton helped produce and maybe wrote one or two songs that people think ALL the credit is theres when in fact Michael wrote most of the songs and the songs he did wrote were the HITS. Michael wrote the entire BAD album on an exception of only 2 songs which were "Just Good Friends" and "Man in the Mirror". On every album Michael's writes over 100 songs and narrows it down. He does most of the writing. He just decides to incorperate other people in his projects. So its not like he does nothing himself lol which some arrogant music lovers love to agrue.

If you actually read the discussion you'll see that most of this was said when the question of the individual merits of Jackson & Prince came up. And it was said for the most part that for the reason that Prince writes & produces virtually all his own stuff that was a plus point in his favour over Jackson. I don't recall anyone saying Jackson does nothing , just that he relies on a production team and certain songwriters to help him out. Something you've not disputed either, so how does it feel knowing you're agreeing with 'arrogant music fans'?
