I'm not saying he did, but I don't trust the American Legal system at all. Especially when dealing with extremely rich people. It's always a possibility. I mean, he had enough money to buy the boys into his home in the first place. He may have only done it because he felt sympathy for his own ****ed up childhood. I don't know, but it's kind of one of those things were you cant quite place it as cut, an dry.

Albeit, as mentioned, he got way to much focus. Gary Glitter got practically none, and I don't think we can argue at this point on Glitter.

This didn't take place in a Batman comic. The American Legal system, flawed as it may be, isn't as corrupt as you might think. There are so many people involved with cases, especially high profile ones, that the whistle would surely have been blown by somebody in this instance if Michael Jackson was paying for an acquittal. The fact that a case with close to no evidence at all can be brought against someone like it was in this instance is the biggest flaw I see here.

Yeah, sleeping in the same bed with under age boys is stupid and weird. But he was a weird guy. That doesn't mean he did anything sexually with them. And knowing a bit about his background (particularly sharing his former religion) just makes me doubt he did anything. I've always felt that way, dead or not dead.

Are you kidding? it was all over the place. The press followed him all over the world when he was released from prison. He was on the front page on a daily basis for ages.

and I've lost count of the number of Gary Glitter jokes I've heard in the last 10 years.

Personally, I haven't much. Perhaps it's just where I grew up.

Here's the thing, though: just because you're not proven guilty doesn't mean you're innocent. There's nothing right about an adult man who allows young children to sleep in his bed with him, children who are not his own. I have no issue with MJ's glorification and appreciation of idyllic childhood memories. I'm sure the kids who hung out at Neverland Ranch and got to go on all the amusement park rides, pet the animals in the petting zoo, and do all the other fun stuff MJ had, had an absolutely great time there. I'd love to do some of those things myself. But inviting children into your personal space to share your bed is something else entirely and doesn't suggest a psychologically healthy mind. There's a difference between appreciating idyllic childhood memories by trying to create more for young kids, and actually 'appreciating' the kids. When kids are young, they're still learning to define their personal boundaries and understand that their bodies are their own. If they're sharing close physical space with an adult, it violates those boundaries in ways they don't yet understand. They don't know enough yet to understand that it's ok to tell the adult that they're feeling uncomfortable and might even think they're doing something wrong by speaking up. They don't want to experience adult anger. How is it good for kids to experience fear and not know enough to protect themselves?

Exactly. Unlike a certain pseudo Queen of Pop who uses and discards people as if they were toilet paper. Michael Jackson was a saint compared to the odious, self-obsessed, full-time egoist known as Madonna, who has been consistently callous from day one.

Assuming he isn't a pedophile, that is.

His "Beat It" is my favorite. And his dancing moves are very creative.
