Remember those 80's stickers?

It's always a good time for sarcasm. This is one of my favourite 80's synth-pop songs. Aviador Dro (the "Spanish Kraftwerk"): Nuclear sí ("Nuclear Yes", 1982).

"¿Nuclear? ¡Sí, por supuesto! ................................ Nuclear? Yes, of course!
¿Nuclear? ¡Sí, cómo no! ................................ Nuclear? Yes, sure!

Yo quiero bañarme en mares de radio ................................ I want to take baths in seas of radium
con nubes de estroncio, cobalto y plutonio. ................................ with clouds of strontium, cobalt and plutonium.
Yo quiero tener envolturas de plomo ................................ I want to have lead wrappers
y niños mutantes montando en las motos. ................................ and mutant kids riding motorbikes.

Desiertas ruinas con bellas piscinas. ................................ Deserted ruins with beautiful swimming pools.
Mujeres etéreas con voz de vampiras. ................................ Ethereal women with vampiress' voices.
Robots multiformes buscando en las calles ................................ Multiform robots searching the streets
los restos inertes del antiguo hombre. ................................ for the inert remains of the old man.

¿Nuclear? ¡Sí, por supuesto! ................................ Nuclear? Yes, of course!
¿Nuclear? ¡Sí, cómo no! ................................ Nuclear? Yes, sure!

Colinas ardientes de sol abrasadas. ................................ Hills burning under a scorching sun.
Ciudades inmensas habitadas por ciborgs. ................................ Inmense cities inhabited by cyborgs.
Serpientes monstruosas devorando casas ................................ Monstrous snakes devouring houses
y naves enormes de formas extrañas. ................................ and huge spaceships with weird shapes.

Volcanes rugientes escupiendo lava ................................ Roaring volcanoes spitting out lava
y bosques violetas con césped naranja. ................................ and violet forests with orange grass.
Cavernas ocultas en playas profundas ................................ Hidden caves in deep beaches
y valles cubiertos de flores aladas. ................................ and valleys covered by winged flowers.

¿Nuclear? ¡Sí, por supuesto! ................................ Nuclear? Yes, of course!
¿Nuclear? ¡Sí, cómo no! ................................ Nuclear? Yes, sure!

¿Nuclear? ¡Sí, por supuesto! ................................ Nuclear? Yes, of course!
¿Nuclear? ¡Sí, cómo no! ................................ Nuclear? Yes, sure!
¡Cómo no! ................................ Sure!

¿Nuclear? ¡Sí, por supuesto! ................................ Nuclear? Yes, of course!"

"The Sun Always Shines on TV" by A-ha has to be the best Synth-pop song ever! I am a big fan of the band and Morten Harket had a fantastic vocal range.

They used to my favourite band to an unhealthy degree in that I barely touched many other band's work. Looking back they had two fairly alright and solid pop-rock albums in True and Parade, two pretty inconsistent New Romantic synth pop albums and one absolute turd. (Through the Barricades) But as you said they have a pretty good collection of singles.
