Maybe, (The Monkees vs The Partridge Family)?

Funny but no, I would put The Osmonds up against The Partridge Family.

One of the reasons I chose The Beatles vs The Beach Boys, is kinda the British band vs The American band..thing. I always liked the surf music by The Beach Boys. What a perfect (time and era) to be on the beach!. And that one time while in LA, "Paul McCartney met with Brian Wilson", and played Wilson a track from Sgt Peppers.., which in return, didn't help, concerning the transition of his nervous breakdown, (Brian Wilson) at the time. Lennon, McCartney, and Brian Wilson, were always related closely personally, while in competition at the same time, as to who would artistically record the best seller. The Beatles were amazingly good and ahead of their time.

Oh okay, that makes perfect sense now. I do like some of The Beatles songs but to be honest, they aren't my cup of tea. I also don't think I have ever listened to any of their albums front to back either. If I were to, I would probably start with Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club. I like concept albums so I would start with that one.

The Beatles by far

Though I did love the Beach Boys harmonies, influence on California and their album Pet Sounds, which was way better than Sgt.Peppers (weak and a complete mess imo). I think The Beatles contributed more musically. Examples being instrument work, songwriting and variety.

The Beatles, as they had two strong songwriters.

Beatles vs. The Beach Boys? How do you even come up with that?

Without a doubt I would choose The Beatles. I wouldn't even necessarily say that one or the other is more popular because they are different genres of music and draw different crowds. But my personal taste and interest is with The Beatles!

Really? comparing the beach boys with the beatles? dude, not even in the same time zone.

The Beatles broke trends then created a new ones... trends that we are still on today.
