Well I most certainly don't like gaga or the black eyed peas.
I think it's crap. But I do have the ability to hear that they make something that has the slightest bit to do with music and lyric writing. This... Rebecca, can't sing nor write lyrics. And musically it's just... humbug.
I have honestly never ever heard so much autotune that wasn't used as an effect. I thought the new Britney album had a lot of that. Well... compared to this, no.

I thought that too, he was bunching them all together as if they were the same...but he has a point in that there are some really weird lyrics in some pop songs - Katy Perry's Firework comes to mind. But it's pop...the focus is on the production, melody and vocals, none of which are delivered at a basic human level with Rebecca Black. But who can blame her? She doesn't have the same resources as say, Katy Perry, and she's only 13. And these basic qualities are what give 'Friday' its charm! I LOVE it.

I love these two girls though compared to Rebecca!

The first one is okay but there were a few things that bothered me. I normally don't care about singing voices but the use of autotune didn't help hers in anyway, she was still pitchy in certain areas

the second girl. I would put my full support behind her and buy her cds. She has potential. I like the fact that she attempts a little dance routine. Sure it's a pretty simple one but it fit with the video.

I feel like this production company is pulling some sort of social experiment. They went up into a school and grabbed up some random girls and said we are going to make you stars based off our production alone because we are THAT good.

Rebecca Black is currently attending the same Junior High School I attended in 2004. She will probably attend the same High School I did.

The best part is, I searched up her profile on Facebook and found out that (assuming the profile I found is actually hers) we have a mutual friend; one of my friend's younger sister.

Man, I feel bad for her though. I see all these media reports heralding her as the worst pop star of all time, when in reality, I don't find her any less musically appealing than Kesha or Perry. In fact, she's got youthful innocence on her side whereas those other two are just aging sluts, projecting a disgusting image of American culture onto our youth and into the rest of the world.
