Jlo is more of a salsa dancer, something the likes of ballroom, cha-cha, jazz, etc. she reminds me of hawaiian dancing.
Beyonce on the other hand is more of a stripper dancer. more on butt-shaking and chest-bumping. anything that denotes sexy.

technically speaking, Jlo may have more moves in terms of pure dancing skills.
But we all know in these modern times, sexy dancing is more popular so Beyonce may get more attention.

You also forget JLo was heavily into hip hop style dancing as well.

First of all, Jlo started out as a dancer, not a singer, the singing came later.
Second of all how is Beyonce being compared to Jlo at all? They're not even within the same genre of music. If you want to classify them both as pop, even, they can't be compared.
Jlo is KNOWN for her dancing, she became famous because of her dancing.

Also, Beyonce can act.
Also, get your facts straight.

Jlo's hip hop dancing though is kind of stiff.
She excels more on classical dances.
