Default Men at Work

Anyone else listen to them? They're from Australia, prominent during the early 80s, had a few good hits in "Down Under", "Who Can It Be Now?", "Be Good Johnny", and "Overkill". Anyone else like em?

I have Business as Usual. I used to listen to it quite a bit when I was younger but at this point it's probably years since I've put it on.

Default Men At Work; as follows,

M.A.W.have always been good, I relly enjoyed when Colin Hay was on Scrubs, singing overkill. I am an accustic fan now.

They had a few good songs but I was never a fan. My dad really likes them, though.

I wasn't a fan of these lads, but they are a part of my golden years.

I remember 'Down Under' but they didn't do anything much of note did they? or is there a classic album out there waiting to be heard?

They had a bunch of hits aside from "Down Under" like "Who Can It Be Now", "Be Good Johnny" and "Overkill" but I wouldn't say there's any real classic album you've been missing out on or anything. Business as Usual is a good, but not great, album that sounds basically like an Australian version of The Police. If you ever stumble across it I'd say it's worth a listen but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it. As far as I've heard, their other two albums aren't that great.

They were a fun gimmicky 80s MTV band but are pretty much a zeitgeist marker now. They epitomized their time period but nothing that endured.
