I always liked Oasis for my melancholy pop fix.

Quick run down of what I remember when I was little:

Haddaway - What Is Love
Sixpence None The Richer - Kiss Me
Donell Jones - U Know What's Up
Fatboy Slim - Praise You
Bomfunk MC's - Freestyler
Chemical Brothers - Hey Boy Hey Girl
East 17 - Stay Another Day
Blur - Coffee & TV
Robbie Williams - Angels
Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up

Fuck me there was some shite that came out back then. Bolded are my favourites of those. Haddaway track is a banger.

This will probably always be my favourite though:

Three Lions (Football's Coming Home) - YouTube

What a ****ing song that was. Should have been shit but wasn't

What a summer .

out of one of the most flourishing decades for music out of all the genres out of all the bands out of all the albums you're really hoping to find one song that's better than the rest?

My favourite band of the 90s are probably The Verve. I love their psychedelic, melancholic sound and the hopeful lyrics. And I love Richard Ashcroft. I'm not homosexual but I'd suck him off.

Obviously, the best damn 90s songs are:

LEN - Steal My Sunshine (the pregnant woman in the music video with the lower belly tattoo still makes me feel uncomfortable but comforted at the same time)

Spice Girls - Say You'll Be There, Who Do You Think You Are

Peter Andre - Mysterious Girl

Ace of Bass - All That She Wants

Lou Bega - Mambo No. 5

That is all.
