Like, what is his purpose? He can't sing. He can't rap. He has zero charisma; personality or likable characteristic traits.
His music is consistently awful, he can't perform live and he has no musical talent. I don't think there's even been a music festival that would book him.
How on earth he got as big as he did, considering I've never met one person who said they're a Pitbull fan, boggles me.

Don't get me wrong his music's ****, but I've seen him in interviews a few times and he comes across as a genuinely good guy, so I can't hate him.

Black Francis 07-09-2014 07:56 PM

He reminds me of Mr clean and mind you not every bald white guy does that, but he does..

But Mr. Clean is tall and good looking though.

Don't know who the last one is but I entirely disagree with the rest.

He is a total waste space. He's so full of himself yet there's nothing good about him! Why does the entertainment scene still support him?

djchameleon 07-10-2014 12:22 AM

How dare you guys badmouth Mr. Worldwide. He is a catchy hit maker that sells out internationally while you guys sit behind your little pc hating and being stuck in one place.

But seriously there was a point in time when he was pretty good. Money is a major issue and El Mairel still hold up over time.

He is Mr. Worldwide. He doesn't need to dance. He pays for the hottest back up dancers from all over!

You know that Mr worldwide thing doesn't sound as cool you think DJ :p:

djchameleon 07-10-2014 12:41 AM

You obviously haven't said Mr. Worldwide enough. The more you say it the cooler it becomes. Mr. 305! Mr. Worldwide.

Scarlett O'Hara 07-10-2014 12:51 AM

It sounds like Mr-I-****ed-the-whole-planet. Or manwhore, for short.

djchameleon 07-10-2014 12:53 AM

He probably has and would proudly take the title.

fixed

djchameleon 07-10-2014 12:56 AM

When you are Mr. Worldwide. You don't need to fake such petty things. Just hop on your private jet and fly to the next country.

The Batlord 07-10-2014 01:04 AM

You know, DJ aside, I think we've finally found an artist that all of MB can get behind not liking. Even Nickelback had people who admitted to liking a few songs.

I bet he has to fake it with a tiny peen. :thumb:

Mr. Worldwide knows how to use his fingers. Dale!

Can you imagine a Pitbull/Nickelback collaboration? Ahhh if only~

I bet he does, in his butt. :p:

Edit:

This was horrible from both of them. Lyrics make me want to vom.

James 07-10-2014 04:57 AM

I like Pitbull because he's just the most unintentionally hilarious musician I have ever come across, seriously check out his Facebook page it's gold.

He probably is into butt stuff but he has his fine female friends to do it for him.

Yeah that was pretty bad. I am only defending his first two albums and a few tracks from his 09 one.

They phoned in that song for the paycheck.

14232949 07-10-2014 08:51 AM

The fact that he looks like a creepy uncle doesn't help matters either.

Can you imagine a year or two from now an upcoming artist mentioning Pitbull as an inspiration for them getting into music.
I can't.

misspoptart 07-10-2014 10:33 AM

My big mainstream peeve right now is/was the Mumford & Sons. Are they still a thing? I wish they would not be. The reason for that is because they got all of the recognition and unanimous love that so many other good (better) folk-style bands should have gotten in the 90s. F those kids. The worst is when people think that listening to Mumford & Sons makes them suddenly cultured. Like, "oh yeah, I listen to bluegrass like... Mumford & Sons, you know them?"

By the way, completely agree about Pitbull. He is a soulless baby eater. The crazy part is that in the western media version of stuff he is often replacing some actually talented Latino artist.

Black Francis 07-11-2014 12:57 AM

Someone earlier mentioned Maroon5 which i dislike very much, especially that song "This love"

since it was a hit i heard it everywhere and it annoyed me cause i don't like the tone of his voice, i find kinda nasally and kind of annoying.

so far i haven't heard any song from them i like even a little, i don't hate them though or think they are a waste of a band but their songs don't do anything for me..

I love the bridge for this song:

Quote:

I still don't have the reason
And you don't have the time
And it really makes me wonder
If I ever gave a f*ck about you

The Batlord 07-11-2014 08:25 AM

I've only ever heard their radio singles, but I've always really dug Maroon 5. Just fun, ear worm pop.

Yeah I'm the same way. My sisters also listen to them, so I've heard them before.

I'm actually listening to their Songs About Jane album right now, and it's actually pretty awesome.

14232949 07-11-2014 09:54 AM

Yeah, what Batlord said. Their earlier radio songs were quite enjoyable, pretty sure I know all the words to She Will Be Loved.

It's on a much higher artistic level than Moves like Jagger anyway.

I will accept this.

That song has a ton of my respect for being a highly addicting pop song but also for twice using the f word.

Scarlett O'Hara 07-11-2014 11:34 PM

Sorry but I find Maroon 5 awful. It's mainly because I hate Adam's voice.

Janszoon 07-12-2014 04:42 AM

Maroon 5 are one of those bands that, when they come up in conversation, I have to go to YouTube to remember what songs they do. Then, after listening to some of their competent but bland take on pop, I promptly forget what songs they do until they come up in conversation again and I look them up again.

Wpnfire 07-12-2014 09:21 AM

Alright, let's keep track of this. This is just the list of musicians people in this thread have admitted to not liking.

Billy Talent: 1
Blink-182: 1
Justin Bieber: 1
Coldplay: 2
Miley Cyrus: 1
Headley: 1
Jennifer Lopez: 2
Demi Lovato: 1
Maroon 5: 2
Mumford & Sons: 1
Pitbull: 7
Robin Thicke: 2

Also, F.Y.I. I've only heard 1 of Pitbull's songs, and I liked it.

I don't think I've ever heard anything by Billy Talent, Headley or Demi Lovato.

James 07-12-2014 09:46 AM

I'd like to second Mumford And Sons. And raise One Direction.

Frownland 07-12-2014 10:01 AM

I hate Mumford and Sons but I would say that REM with a banjo isn't really the worst on the radio.

djchameleon 07-12-2014 10:01 AM

I haven't heard a one direction song but add 5 seconds of summer to that bad boy.

The Batlord 07-12-2014 10:05 AM

Third for Mumford and Sons. Throwing a banjo over dull indie pop does not make you a roots band.

LOL. Just by coincidence you posted this just before me. And I normally wouldn't dislike them so much, but I feel like I'm expected to like them just because a bunch of people with shallow musical taste seem to think they're authentic, and it's galling.
