Why would you assume I was talking about the 70s when we were talking about the recording of an album that you know was recorded in 1982? Thriller was the album that propelled him to megastar status so obviously he wasn't there yet prior to the release of that album.

There just not bigger than MJ


The fact that you don't want to accept that MJ surpassed them in popularity is kinda ridiculous. I respect your opinions but just saying.

I was referring to the actual release of Thriller which was in 82'


I have been looking all over the internet and I can not find one source on Van Halen being titled the best touring act of 1982.

Can you please provide a link?
