Miley Cyrus Metallica Covers Album???
I have to wonder what the thinking might be with this possible upcoming release? I'm guessing the thinking is this is going to sell. It may or may not, but is there an ounce of artistic integrity being dealt with here? This whole machine/artist seems to be a continuing train wreck.

The whole idea wasn’t that bad.
But the choice of performers was clearly a cash grab, and not an „artistic” choice.

I made a google sheet looking at who covered what and here's the breakdown of track choice:
22.64% Nothing Else Matters - 12
13.21% Sad but True - 7
13.21% the Unforgiven - 7
11.32% Enter Sandman - 6
9.43% Holier Than Thou - 5
7.55% Wherever I May Roam - 4
5.66% My Friend of Misery - 3
3.77% Don’t Tread on Me - 2
3.77% Through the Never - 2
3.77% The God That Failed - 2
1.89% Don’t Tread on Else Matters - 1
1.89% of Wolf and Man - 1
1.89% the Struggle Within - 1
Twelve people doing NEM?
My feeling on the Black Album has always been that it's Metallica for normies. It's obviously a great album, but it's not the album that makes people fans. And I think most fans hate Nothing Else Matters.

I think of all the covers I listened to Miley Cyrus was one of the only ones I liked.
I have to disagree, The Black Album was the first Metallica album I listened to and is the reason I’m a fan of their other stuff. Do most people actually hate Nothing Else Matters? That’s not how I have perceived it but to be fair I don’t know many Metallica fans.
