You don't strike me as the kazoo type.

I went through a slide whistle phase but it just wasn't the same.

And anything's better than fucking pan pipes

astro man was never really finished as a song, it's only on compilations and the line 'that old ***got superman' generally doesn't sit well with most and makes hendrix seem a little bigoted.

where's 'valleys of neptune' from? i've never heard of it and i've got about a dozen hendrix discs.

I know its a blasphemous thing to say but Stevie Ray Vaughn's instrumental version is better.

Thats exactly what I said in another thread a couple of days ago. It always sparks a fire under some people though to be fair. It's a big statement to make.

if the hendrix version would have been 7minutes instead of just 3, it might just have kicked vaughan's version in the butt. Vaughan's Little Wing could have been a bit, you know, tremendous IMO.
Little Wing makes me shut my eyes and dream, no mater which version. But to me, the Hendrix version is just perfect. really short, but perfect. + I also like the singing.

Meh they're both amazing and they both died before their time. Why not give credit where credit is due.
