Bump. C'mon prog-people, I'm willing and eager to expand my horizons. I've tried all the alternative methods of acquiring them...

Do you still need some Camel? I have Breathless and Rain Dances. Both are great albums.

I don't have Caravan, which is a band I probably should have. I don't have a lot of the essentials so this thread was pretty useful.

For Girls Who Grow Plump in the Night and In the Land of Grey and Pink are must haves.

You got a hold of Caravan too or were you just referring to the camels?

I did adidasss a favor and upped him a few albums of both Camel and Caravan, so that's why he's got 'em.

Thanks to Anteater, Boo Boo, Comus, and Toretorden for making this. It already has been much help to me as far as understanding progressive and one day It'll be even more help when I decide to try and "acquire the taste".

Introducing Italian Prog, and particularly PFM (Premiata Forneria Marconi)

Recommended starting place: Per Un Amico (Also known as Photos of Ghosts),

I checked the upload link and it still seems active.

or The World Became the World

There's tons available about them via Google, so here's a quick Youtube to convince you that they're in the upper echelons of Prog (even if a tad on the Genesis-alike side);
