Regardless of how great Dark Side was, the Wall will always be better. Piper is a great album too, the beginning of interstellar overdrive is so badass. Saucerful is great too, especially that last song (Jugband Blues) is so sad and really sums up Barrett's story. But honestly, Wish you were here was not as good. Felt overhyped for me. Also More was straight up ass lol.

no Roger Waters and no Rick Wright = No Pink Floyd.

Im a huge fan of Floyd. One of the few bands where I own all of their records, but after The Wall, theyre a different band. A band that is nowhere near as good as they once were. I for one am not that excited for this new LP, but Ill give it a shot.

The Division Bell makes a good contender it's really been clicking for me and The Endless River

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

I'd rather have Waters in my Floyd for sure, but I'm not a purist, I think the dismissal of post-Waters Floyd is unfair since I think Division Bell and Pulse were both pretty good efforts.

Wasn't a fan of Endless River as it really did feel like it was just a bunch of unfinished scraps, but I'm down for a new record of written material from Gilmour, no Waters isn't a dealbreaker for me, the lack of Wright however could be. Wright was such a key part of their sound that no I can't really call it Pink Floyd without him, this is clearly going to be a Gilmour record with the Floyd brand, but here's hoping it'll still be decent.

Favourite Pink Floyd album? Dark Side of The Moon but given my age I’m no longer get off my face on the chemicals it deserves. Judging by their more recent live performances, neither are they.

I saw Waters on Friday. It seems he has such hatred for Gilmour that playing songs he sang in was off limits. There were two I can remember they played - Money, Us and them. Gilmour's bits were done by one of the guitarists, who can really sing.

Given the animosity, I'll provide two answers - one for the Gilmour era, one for the Waters era.

Gilmour - Division Bell (High Hopes is one of the band's best songs, PERIOD)
Waters - The Wall
