sleepy jack 01-29-2005 02:28 PM

PINK FLOYD-The Wall (complete Analysis) Hope Fully this will be of some help for you.

itchytasty 01-29-2005 07:54 PM

great link, i'll have to sit down and read that.

Tommyrocker 01-30-2005 09:58 AM

Oh Please.

Its my opinion that they are merely both as talentless as one another. I have noticed a strong link between good charlotte, bowling for soup and blink 182 though.

Did I say obscured by clouds ?

I meant Meddle

wow if this is not the most conformast peice of **** I have ever read...
keep flafs at a certain size, and keep them within regulation? Roger Waters would not approve...remember...we don't need no education, we don't need no thought control.
And you said that we should show Pink Floyd how much we care? there is no pink floyd anymore..

Urban Hat€monger ? 02-08-2005 02:41 PM

Wish it was U2 fans out waving flags around.

Would make it so much easier to arrange a mass culling

sorry, didnt realise it was your time of the month. Just pointed out something i noticed, sorry to have offended you so much that you had to make a petty retort.

ArtistInTheAmbulance 02-12-2005 04:14 PM

I dont think he was being petty, its just that that point gets brought up alot, and does get kinda boring.. No offence meant, Im just kinda tired of these arguments now.

silvermoon 02-13-2005 02:59 PM

Think there different both good. Both sad and depressing sounding at times yet so good and I have to be in the mood to hear them or just hear them pop up on the radio. I don't own a cd by either of them nor a tape or lp. :hphones: :band:

it didnt offend me. it just makes me realise how much of a dumb **** you are, by just realising the similarities in those bands. Especially when ,like ArtistintheAmbulance said that it is brought up a lot...

Delicate 02-16-2005 06:00 AM

What's Yer Favorite Pink Floyd Album..?
Wish You Were Here is my favorite because "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" is my favorite Pink Floyd song.

SATCHMO 03-29-2005 10:30 PM

Animals

Urban Hat€monger ? 03-29-2005 11:32 PM

Meddle

itchytasty 03-30-2005 07:19 AM

Wish You Were Here

classic from start to finish.

"Oh by the way, which one's Pink?"

Trauma 03-30-2005 09:28 AM

They got the name from Blues musicians Pink Anderson and Floyd Council. Pink Floyd is prolly my favorite "classic" rock band, Idk, maybe I'm just talking about them too much now. Animals was a good one because their manager took two songs off of Wish You Were Here for it.

Trauma 03-30-2005 09:28 AM

oh wait (none of them are named Pink) if you didn't know for some reason.

SATCHMO 03-30-2005 11:56 AM

Itchtasty is quoting Have a Cigar, If you didn't know for some reason.

Soundgardener 03-30-2005 12:19 PM

Anarchy doll 03-30-2005 06:43 PM

The Wall, mainly cuz it is soooo creative and a total mind trip, and I love the movie so I understand the feelings Roger was trying to portray when I am unsure...

sleepy jack 03-30-2005 06:46 PM

Dark Side Of The Moon cause it kicked all the other one's asses.

Sneer 03-31-2005 06:48 AM

i'll have to go with the cliche, darkside of the moon. mind-boggling and completely outside of the box.

Anarchy doll 03-31-2005 08:07 AM

you guys will get a kick outta this...one time, my Grandmother was wanting to get her hands on some acid, since it is rare now, we got her E and she was sitting on the porch with us listening to Dark Side of the moon in the darkness of the night, and all of us just saw her scream and run off into the feild....! We all chase after her and calmed her down, but man, that was a Pink Floyd moment if I ever saw one...and yes...to awnser all you questions...my Grandma is kick ass and likes drugs.....

Anarchy doll 03-31-2005 08:26 AM

not what I was saying...and yes please stop being an argumentitive bit*h k?
Don't tell me that story didn't at least make you laugh!
if not, you need to shake off your teenage immature depression phase just long enough to appreciate a good laugh////

ArtistInTheAmbulance 03-31-2005 08:30 AM

Teenage immature depression? Hah thanks love, thats just me all over  Im not saying the story didnt make me laugh, Im just saying drugs dont make a person great... But hey, I can see how thinking that would make me an immature angst-ridden teenager.........

Anarchy doll 03-31-2005 06:59 PM

UH HUH.....sure....well, my Grandma is still kick ass! Not cuz she likes drugs though, cuz she is free enough in her mind to give ANYTHING a try once!
That's all!
