Default Viagra Boys

So I've discovered Viagra Boys and I'm obsessed about how good they are. Specially their underground stuff like their jam sessions, but its all quite good + their humor is spot on and it's usually such an overlooked ingredient in music. Maybe not so much in punk (I'm kind of new to it), but my favorite band of all time is radiohead and I think it's fair say there isn't much humor in it hah
Do you like it as well, and if so, what else do you like?

I like their stuff a lot. They played my town awhile back as an opening act for Shame, a fine British band. That was a great double bill but it sold out before I could get tickets.

I'm not a fan. Perfectly decent musicians but I don't buy the heavy-handed stabs at satire. A bit dull, frankly. Too reddit-friendly, if you know what I mean.

Radiohead are great though. What's your favorite album?

Really? Man I was laughing all the way through "girls & boys" and I played it severly times due that absolutely off the chart saxophone.

I dunno, I think reapeating the words "girls" "boys" "cops" "drugs" "dogs" and last but not least "shrimps" like it's serious lyrical poetry and not something a washed up druggie dug out from the shambles of his soul would be lost on reddit users. They'd criticize just that and think the insult was their idea.

That said, I do prefer a more rough nihilistic tune like "research chemicals" to, for example a bland "punk rock loser", both from them.

Amnesiac is my favorite, but Hail to the thief is very close

It's great that you see in them something I don't, that's why we're here!

I love Amnesiac too. Probably my favorite Radiohead album, though if I still find The Bends is the most complete one.

Sometimes I think they should've released the strongest tracks on Kid A and Amnesiac as a single album and that would've been their masterpiece, other times I think it's great they released them as two records.
