Wow this debate is still going on. Green day are not an important band to the music scene. They may be to all their fans, but not to the music scene. They havent made any influence at all. So get over it.

in ten years they probably will have. most likely not to the punk scene though. But not as important as people are making them out to be. Because they suck.
