i've said it numerous times before, i don't have a problem if you don't like a band because you don't see anything special about their music, but i do have a problem when you say they suck because they're all mainstream or they think they're punk when they're not or that you're annoyed by their recent interest in politics....i just like the music, it makes me feel good when i listen to it...i just like it......i don't give a shit if they're punk or not or about anything else....i like the album.....and i think it's superior to dookie.....that is all.....

Because they aren't talented musicians their lyrics aren't good.

Seriously i highly doubt a pop act such as green day would pass up the the chance to make more money.

I don't really see what the fuss is all about. There appear to be a few members on this forum who make it their business to stress out as to whether Greenday are punk,metal,pop etc.Who gives a f*ck.
And as for jumping on the anti Bush wagon they're only expressing through song what a lot of Americans and indeed the rest of the world are thinking.

Even if bush gets impeached, it wont do much. You still have the whole political group of people who approved his actions in power.

That's the beauty of living in NZ. Our politics very rarely involve war and that's just one of the things that makes this country great
