But I respect straight-edgers...most of the time...if they are the stuck up ones that think EVERYONE should be straightedge and its the ONLY way to live and that ppl who aren't are less than them, then I hate them and want to wring their necks...

The basic lifestyle of Straight Edge means living the rest of your life without drugs, alcohol, and tobacco. Those are the 3 main things. Some even pursue it further - some abstain from promiscuous sex, some become vegetarians/vegans, some don't even take caffeine or prescription drugs.

Get your facts together, man. People who claim straight edge don't smoke, drink, or take drugs, and while promiscuity is a factor, that doesn't mean that they don't f'uck. Following a vegan or vegetarian diet is not a guideline of straight edge, although it is a lifestyle that many straightedgers adopt.

Fugazi was the first I heard of going against sex drugs and rock-n-roll, that was a long time ago. I dont know if they did the vegan thing, but they didn't like the Vogon thing, Vogon poetry suc'ks

People seem to talk about self-righteous Straight Edgers alot but i think there are far more drinkers who say 'why don't u drink ure so lame111!!1'.

The only bad things about it are not being able to drink,have sex,or eat sugar.I'm okay with not being able to smoke or do drugs.
