I play guitar with some friends every once in a while. Last summer was pretty great, got together and played a lot, about 5 of us just picking up whatever songs we all liked, we'd find a song that would be cool to play, went home and practiced, came back sometime later and fit it together, so much fun. Two other guys played guitar, and they've been playing for years longer than me, so I really learned a lot from them, great way to improve.

If i could be famous and make a living playing the music i love, bet your a$$ i would in a heartbeat...Instead of playing for beer and gas money and having to wake up mon-fri to go to my day job! Ive played in a few bands for the almost 10 years and love being on stage and seeing the kids get into the music. The promoters, club owners, sound techs and security get paid, why not the band?
