Fall Out Boy, Blink 182 etc. Have never sold their music on some sort of punk rock image.

Uh..... no they don't. People just think that the music that they've been making of recent is ****(i don't actually mind American Idiot) most people who love that album- myself included, judge it as a pop album.

LOL They are not emo. I would call them pop-punk if anything.

They're not pop-punk either.

They're as punk as The Jonas Brothers.

I would call their earlier work pop-punk (Fall Out Boy's Evening Out with Your Girlfriend & Take This to Your Grave). Their last 2 albums have definitely been pop music though.

I wouldn't call any of it pop-punk. Pop-rock at absolute best.

perhaps cause they change styles, just to get famous, even though they made good music before they got commercial...

it's all about the money...
