To me sellout implies that the band have "sold" their music credit to instead just make money. I.e. abandoning their true style and instead just doing whatever the record company/ producers/ market says to make more dough. I guess if this is what has happened with Good Charlotte and Fall Out Boy then that is why they are labelled sellouts.

fob is fine... not great not terrible... as far as selling out, anyone who wants to make it these days needs some help.... there isnt one band youve heard of who hasnt "sold out" at least once... its part of getting recognized

Well, just because one member does doesnt mean that the whole band does, or acts like it.
I think it sounds like he cares about his vocals and how people think about him as an artist, not what he does with the music or what he says with it And I have seen them in concert more than once, I know who they are. |
