Son of Mr Greengenes didn't last very long.
wonder why? |
I'm actually supprised London Calling (which is great) is ahead of The Clash which is IMO one of best albums ever.
|
London Calling for me. It's pretty amazing that a double album could be released that goes in so many divergent directions and yet everything works. Death and Glory is one of my Clash favs.

london calling? maybe?

Bump.
Other than someone else that posted in this thread, why am I the only one that feels the love for Give Em Enough Rope? It's fantastic, and at this point, I'd say it's better than their debut. London Calling is obviously the best, but damn, some great songs on GEER. |
London Calling hands down. The rest is inconsistant

Yeah, I noticed that. I still like the song, but it is a blatant Who ripoff.
And I agree about the first three tracks thing, those are some of their best songs. Another awesome one on that album is Stay Free. |

But I actually tend to dislike GEER. Nothing against the songs on it, but the production is horrid. It's the kind of album I only listen to in the background, while driving etc. because if I listen closely the production starts to annoy me enough that I don't enjoy the album. |
I like the production better than the debut, to be honest.
But then again, I like the whole album better. |
