The Clash > Ramones. Also, I like the Sex Pistols, but Sid Vicious ruined them.

also no they're not a punk band. they're major label rebellious anarchyists. **** them. put on some Rudimentary Peni and be done with these rock stars.

The Ramones? How were they trend-hoppers?, they played the same kind of music for pretty much their entire career, and they started the trend they were part of.

they weren't really good musicians to do a full on change of style like The Clash did, but they were trying out different directions to make them the rock stars they always wanted to be. not to mention the expensive production they eventually started having.

wannabe rock stars. just like Sex Pistols and The Clash. only the latter succeeded far more.

either way Ramones' music is more charming than The Clash's quest for glory and fame.

Yeah, how terrible, making use of resources you can afford.

yeah...indietrash, have you actually listened to the music you are criticizing? i'm pretty sure the clash WERE rock stars. if you ask me, the ramones would have absolutely loved to achieve the level of fame that the clash received.
