im sure you havnt heard of NUTBOY..originally from Kitimat BC they aren't kickin around anymore, but for the short time they were around they got pretty big

some of my favs that have come out of canada.. SNFU, Glory Stompers, NoMeansNo, Dayglo Abortions and DOA, all i can think of for now.

**** punk. the best canadian act iv seen is easily strapping young lad. devin townsend ****ing rocks. the drummer is also amazing. ever seen them play? he is the biggest guy youll see, playing the fastest beats, sitting there, not moving, looking around the room casually, almost boredly while the beasts get faster and faster..
though i guess because strapping young lad are metal a lot of people in here will be far too cool for them. i saw aphex twin live last year and he was unbelievable.

While they aren't even remotely punk, Matthew Good Band is/was awesome stuff.
