ok, my very interesting anecdote for you all. basically, i was about 11 and my brother being the arsehole he was locked me in a room while the damneds "damned damned damned" was playing. i think his thinking was that id hate it and be intimidated by it and at the time, quite frankly, i was. but anyway, i slowly started to get into rock and punk and i appreciated it a lot more. so there, the damneds the first punk band i heard.
