Its to the point to where anyone who is white brings up a subject that even mentions blacks, they must be racist. Its silly really.
Wrong.
I'm not into bullshit like political correctness or white guilt but I do have a Bachelor's degree in US History from a major university so I know a little bit and that's why I can see that he knows his History.
And, just to prove you wrong again: I'm a white person who is happy to mention and discuss blacks. For instance, I suggest you read the book, "******: The Strange Career of a Troublesome Word" by Randall Kennedy if you want to get a deeper view of race in America.

Anyway, that's my last word on the topic. I think that if nobody here is even going to try to talk about music then this thread should move down to The Lounge where I can ignore it more easily.

Janszoon seems like a really smart guy but I don't know what he has said in this thread that makes it appear like he knows so much more about US history than anybody else.

In addition, while I think the argument Hip Hop Bunny is making is stupid, I in no way view it as white supremacist and think he has actually made a few valid points amidst the pile that is this thread...

Even if it's not obvious by what he says on this thread, Janszoon is right. No offense but it takes an education to know what he is talking about. And, yeah, there are also all kinds of highly intelligent/educated racists as well. For all I know Hip-Hop Bunny and fairborn420 hold Doctorate degrees in Sociology. Knowledge of facts is easy, it's more difficult to put facts into perspective that goes beyond your own. Just because a point is valid does not make it more important than other valid points is the thing..

I don't believe that Hip Hop Bunny is stupid, but I do think he's biased by racist rhetoric or maybe from direct experience. I even believe that he does not believe that he is a racist, but his words say otherwise. I don't know or care why he has 'right wing' views (especially regarding race for some reason?) but I've always been fascinated by hatred and violence so I keep opening up this damn thread.

I still invite anybody to introduce me to some Right Wing Punk that might make me think that any of those bands are worthwhile. Are there any good Libertarian Punk bands out there? It seems that some Right Wing Punk is almost there but for all the racism and adolescent rage.

The problem with punk in general is that it is so anti establishment that it attracts the politcal fringes of society who like to co opt it for thier own purposes of political indoctrination.

This is what happened to the working class punk movement in England, with the oi! movement getting tarnished by the Southall riot in 1981, which in general had a lot of conservative values to it.

The New York hardcore scene was intially unabashadly right wing as well. When I think of right wing punk I still think of Agnostic Front.

Public Assistance: Agnostic Front

You spend your life on welfare lines
Or looking for handouts
Why don't you go find a job
You birth more kids to up your checks
So you can buy more drugs
Cash in food stamps and get drunk

[Chorus:]
Uncle Sam takes half my pay
So you can live for free
I got a family and bills to pay
No one hands money to me
You can go to school for nothing
Got that government grant
Get money in advance
When you're sick from shooting up
Medicaid pays full portion
When little Maria gets knocked up
She gets a free abortion

[Chorus]

How come it's minorities who cry
Things are too tough
On TV with their gold chains
Claim they don't have enough
I say make them clean the sewers
Don't take no resistance
If they don't like it go to hell
And cut their public assistance

Exactly how I thought it would be. Complete ignorance. I hope I don't have to explain myself further.

Take out the last verse and do you still complain?

Yes, because I he is obviously talking about minorities in the entire song. Maybe you could argue otherwise without the last verse, but to me it is pretty obvious.

Also Engine, You said racists can be educated as well and then you mentioned my name. This proves the point I was making. I have said nothing that would constitute racism yet you call me a racist? Why? Because I have no guilt over slavery? Because I point out that most black victims of crimes are victims of other blacks? These are facts. You may not like them because you have been told to feel guilty over past wrong doings but they, nonetheless, are facts.

Well it pretty strongly implies that everyone on welfare is a minority for one thing.
