They only thing I think has changed in punk is the indiviuality in punk, that was lost in the 70s. Despite what people say, "theres punks everywhere in london!" its still not commonplace to see people dressed in this 'radical' fashion. The music is still deemed offensive, thus no radio play (for most bands) and most punk rock says "**** you" to those who oppose.
