The Sex Pistols were one of the one of the most boring punk bands of the 70s. Give me Radio Birdman or The Damned over them anyday.

Again, The Sex Pistols rocked. Other than the fact that they were assembled by a record company and kicked Matlock out for liking The Beatles they ruled. AND, they weren't totally dependent upon a record company either. After they were banned from England, EMI kicked them and Virgin Records took them on. Richard Branson or whatever, the no-punk, knight of England...come on. They rocked. My favorites are Sid and Johnny, cuz Johnny reminds me of me, except I have better teeth and am not 50 and fat.. They're looks have nothing to do with it but their mentality about punk rules. I love their songs and even if they're over-rated I wish to give them more credit than they deserve as well. Even Vicious.

HAHAHAH sid was a loser he couldnt play base he was a junkie druggie stage prop. He wasnt a frontman or a bass player at shows, another person was actually playing for him and on the records Steve Jones (the guitarist) played bass.I could never look up to some moron like that.
