I think the reason you guys are complaining about current punk is because the scope of bandfs your looking at are on the big 3 or 4 punk labels. Epitaph being the main culprit. I fyou listen to acctually good modern punk bands i.e. Suicidal Supermarket trolleys, Fleas and Lice, RAMBO, Disrespect, Petrograd, etc. When you stop listening to whats goven to you by the mainstream punk community I think you will find what you seek. If you think that punk bands arnt singing about rebelling then your not listening to punk, LOTS of bands are doing LOTS more than singing about injustices.

yeah theres plenty of good bands that are mainstream from this era check your local punk concerts

I think a more apt question is how do you know it dosen't. Either figurativley ,as I meant it, or literaly. Also I'd like to reinterate I'm not saying no good new punk bands exist it's just they're hard to find.

^ The burden of proof does not rest with me. I'm not saying that it doesn't happen and that people do not drop their standards, but saying all Pop is "about letting the corparations stick their fat Cøck up yr ass just so you can get some crumbs they drop" is a very large over-generalization.

I wasn't saying that there aren't any good punk bands right now, I was just stating my opinion....yeah.

Ya i see my problem i konw i dont listen to enought good modern punk, just simply cuz i dont konw whats out there. I liksten to alot of the old stuff and i just find it hard to find good stuff now adays. But its coments like yours that i respect.
